What teams usually ask before bringing documents and operational data into CrewMateAI.
How confidential and private are the documents uploaded to CrewMateAI?
All documents are stored in AWS servers based in Europe (Paris) and protected under several layers of security. External access is strictly forbidden and controlled.
Will customer data be used to train other AI models?
Customer data and documents are never used to train other AI models. Upon account creation and upload of documents to CrewMateAI, the customer agrees to using the extracted data as context for their AI agent only. That data is never used for other users, agents or external AI models.
The data that goes through the external API layers of OpenAI or any other AI providers is encrypted to ensure sensitive information never leaves our servers. Moreover, as we operate under a company account, external AI providers are strictly not authorized to use any of our data to train their AI models.
We will only use some or all of customer data to train our data processing models if the customer specifically agrees to it. In any case, CrewMateAI will never take ownership of customer data, and upon account deletion or request of data deletion, all data will be deleted and cannot be recovered.
Where will the data be stored and under what jurisdiction is it protected?
All data, including documents, is stored in AWS servers based in Europe (Paris). This means we comply with EU GDPR data protection laws, as well as LOPDGDD as we are a company based in Spain. The combination of both puts our data under one of the strictest and most demanding data protection laws worldwide.
